Its 200-plus vacation condominiums are described by 30A.com as inviting and affordable, which is a polite way of saying this is the stretch where a beach week on the same coast costs less than the resort towns farther east.
The geography does the rest. Ed Walline Public Beach Access, one of the largest on this coast per 30A.com, sits steps from the center with parking, restrooms, and an ADA boardwalk ramp, and when it fills, the Highway 393 municipal parking facility runs a shuttle down to the sand.
